The Lab Rat
Hey everyone! So in September I bought my first corn (hypo), who, with all of the wit I could muster, I named Cornelius! He was about 3-4mo when I bought him from what I could tell, and has quite the personality. Here are a few pictures from when I first brought him home-- I am happy to say that since shedding, his colour has really brightened quite a bit! (pictures through the glass vivarium doesn't do much justice to my pretty boy, hehe)

Cornelius is also apparently a ninja, who frequently manages to climb across flat surfaces upside-down and with no legs. :grin01:

I'm away at college as a junior at the moment studying neuroscience and mathematics, but at home we keep quite a few other pets-- we have five dogs, two African tortoises, and three smaller tortoises. We also keep saltwater and freshwater fish tanks.

As for snakes, I grew up with a red tail boa named Cleopatra (Cleo) who we raised from birth. She was about 16 years, 11.5 feet long and eating jumbo size rats when we decided to give her to a friend who keeps snakes her size and had an enormously larger habitat available for her. Cleo happily lives there now and I visit her on occasion when I'm home.

That's pretty much it. :) I'll be posting many pictures of Cornelius and any other snakes that mysteriously happen to fall into my collection.

Cheers!

Sam and Serena do the same thing! Very nice addition and welcome, I just recently joined and I love it! It seems I am always on the site since I have joined.

welcome to the site!!! It's so cute when they wedge themselves into that little crack!! My Melman did that in his 10gal until he moved into his 29gal, now he never does it... I just moved Pepper into Melman's old 10gal today and went in a couple of hours ago and saw her doing the exact same!!

anyway, I'll look forward to seeing pics of your red tail boa (I've always wanted one, but don't have the space for one..)

again, welcome to the forum!!

I cant believe I'm the first person to question this...NEUROSCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS...you're nuts! Anywho...welcome to the forum :wavey:
