Oh you know!!!
I picked up this guy and at first glance he looked emaciated. He's a 2013, I'm guesstimating around 22" long, and only weighs 20 grams. I have 2014s that are 3 times his size. I know cinders have a "lean" look to them but he just looks too thin. I would like opinions please as to if I am just imaging this. Thanks

Very pretty, but he looks very thin to me. From my personal experience, my male hypo cinder didn't start getting the triangular shape until he was around 2 years old. My female hypo cinder is 2 now and she is just starting to get that shape. And neither of mine are as extreme as this one. My male has a somewhat triangular shape, but his head is still in proportion to his body. This little one looks like he has a huge head because of how thin he is.

Yeah the head picture had me thinking that, too.... His body is so thin his head looks enormous! Poor guy. At least he's got you now!

update

He's now up to 30 grams and looking better. Still looks thin but he's energetic and lively.

Update

He checked out good. Doing extremely well. Bulking up but still have a ways to go.

Here's a quick crappy cell pic

I agree that he looks better already! Good luck with him! I somewhat recently took back a snake that I hatched out and gifted to my brother and his fiance. They moved somewhere where the landlord wasn't thrilled about snakes. He was TINY compared to what I thought a snake his size should be. He put on weight though and is still on the smaller side, but healthy.

That is a huge difference, he looks totally different!
He's gorgeous. He still has his big noggin, too lol so cute.

Looking back at the then and now pictures, I'd say you got him in the nick of time. He's looking just gorgeous.
