Nice Final Clutch of 2014

Hatched out on Christmas day.
My favorite kind of clutch, a little of everything. Plus the target morph:
Dilute Anery SK Motley SWEET!

Very Cool! How very cool to get such a mix! Do you expect a strong blue in your Dilute Anerys?

Very cool! Any dilute SK motleys?

Not in this clutch but I do own some. I find them annoying to look at because they always look like they are in blue. It's like looking at the world through Vaseline smeared goggles. I don't see that in regular Dilutes, only the SK's. I think it's because most of my SK's have such sharply defined color patterns. I should test that theory with some of my less crisp SK breeders but thus far I've been lazy in that morph area.
Thanks for looking!

The yearling Dilute Anery SK Motleys I have are very unique looking animals. The Dilute gene line I am using is very blue. Close but not as lovely as Orlando's Stripe beauty! I think it's the same lineage though because mine came out of Bayou stock.

Lol Terri, what you find annoying I find cool! I saw a hypo dilute motley once and the dilute effect seemed way stronger than in just a regular dilute. I don't know if that always holds true or not. Maybe hypo and other genes with hypo effects increase the "diluteness?"

If you have a pic I'd love to see it :)

I know I'm in the minority on this one, what else is new? lol The colony is in brumation and I don't commonly just take pics for fun because I am soooooo woefully bad at it. So I don't just have one to post. Sorry. If I remember when I'm taking them out in the spring I'll attempt a pic.
Surely there are photos of Dilute SK Motleys somewhere on the web? Sean of VMS fame should have some given that he works with the gene. Or Walter?

Terri

No prob, don't trouble yourself on my account. I couldn't find a pic but if you stumble across one let me know! Sean had an amazing dilute amel motley that I got scooped on last year, but I haven't see any dilute SK stuff from him. I love the way amel morphs look in shed, especially my SK amel, but the motley gene seemed to exaggerate the effect of dilute in Sean's dilute amels, which is why I originally asked about the SK dilute motleys.

Congrats on hitting your target!

I have some Dilute Amels and a couple of Dilute Snows. They look cool as hatchlings but that washout look goes away as they mature. At least it has in mine. So maybe you didn't missed out after all...?

Terri

The breeding was just to test for Hets, so the whole clutch is up for grabs. I already have Homo Dilute SK Anery Motleys.

Terri

So you have dilute anerys for sale? the blue? I know you said they weren't as blue as Orlandos but still?! I saw the light one in the bottom of the picture, is that one of them? cause that one is super pretty no mtter what that is.. (still learning morphs as you can see)... I need more baby pictures either way <3 I said no more snakes.. I think I lied to myself...
