well I fed my snake last week and waited 5 days. I didn't see any poop yet. I fed her again so hopefully she will poop! How long after they eat do they usually poop? also my corn is about 4 mos old.

Hey Definitions,

I was going to say 4 to 7 days then I realized I never have watched to see when mine poop so I do not have an answer for you. I know at least 7 days because I feed every 7 days and sometimes they will poop in the food tub.

Sorry for not giving you a real answer.

Love the Fatman

Definitions, you know what works for my snake? A good workout!!! Dallas usually poops 3-4 days after he fully digests his foods (after the 48 hr mark). Now if he doesn't, I take him out for a good solid 30 min and work that little body out. I let him crawl around my hands and neck. I hold him by his lower body and let him lift up until his head reaches up to my hand (I do that a couple times). Or whatever you let your snake do to get some exercise. Then as soon as I put him back in his tank he poops! Some people give their snakes baths and let them swim in room temp water. For some reason water makes them poop i guess. This is just some ideas if you start to worry if your snake doesn't poop. But when nature calls, nature will call.

We used the tepid bath method with our lavender when he seemed to be going a long time without pooping.

As soon as my bf put him in the water, he let go with a large BM :) And was more than ready for his pinky the next morning.

Perhaps it depends on the snake (age/size)? My two girls are both around a year old. Sienna poops reliably about 3 days after being fed. Firefly can take up to 4 days. Maybe an adult being fed a full size mouse takes longer?
