This is one hot looking wild snake. Are they normally this nicely colored in the wild?

Yes! Okeetees have been named for their legacy of beautiful Orange, Red, and Black bordered animals that were all collected from the Okeetee Hunt Club.

Not every wild caught animal will be so nice, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and of course wild caught corns can be absolutely gorgeous!

Also, I'm sure that captive bred snakes have escaped from owners in Florida (sometimes, I learned even on a large scale due to natural disasters), and they have survived and prospered. It makes sense to me that there are some pretty Normals out there!

Cute little one.
