Not shedding...

Hectorthesnake

Banana Phone.
I was just wondering...

I got my snake in January...He shed a day after I got him.

And then in early Febuary....

I feed him one pinky every 4-5 days.

But he still hasn't shed since like...febuary 2..
He is about a foot long...Can't measure him since he hasn't shed...>_<

Is this normal? Or is he sick or something? x_x Help.

Although shedding usually occurs about once a month in hatchlings, it is not always the rule. I've had many hatchlings occasionally take much longer...sometimes as long as 10 weeks. And older snakes will often go longer than a month between sheds. Don't panic. Your snake will shed when it's ready.

The shed won't give you a completely accurate length. Figure on it being about 10% longer than the snake. You will be correct within about an inch or so.
