Got in my order from TMF:

That should hold me awhile. :grin01:

TMF rocks. You'd swear that they shampooed their stuff before they send it. And the growth rates acheived from using their mice have to be experienced to be properly appreciated.

Yarp, I have always used them but gave RodentPro a try after seeing the adds here. Now I am back to TMF where I should never have strayed from.

Even made myself a little banner for my website:

:grin01:

Cool banner! For some reason I can't rep you for it.. When I click it, I just jump to the top of the thread. :shrugs:

Thanks, I love doing text stuff in photoshop. :grin01:

260 mice to be exact: 60 jumbo, 50 adult, 50 hoppers, 50 fuzzies, 50 large pinkies.

By the way, if anyone wants to use that banner to link to TMF from their website, feel free. :grin01:

Sure hope Rich knows you are using some of his pictures..

Reminds me.. I need to make an order for a couple a thousand mice.. Danka..

WOW! Nice jumbo sized mice!!! lol I think my new girl would have to be fed those or small rats! lol

Well, Jakey is 975g, and alternates two 25g mice one week, three the next, and even on his week of there he has no bulge...(The feeding bulge- I don't want him to get the Fatty Snake bulge, that's why he's on a restricted diet, but still growing).

Hey, word of warning. If you thaw out the jumbo, and put it by your snake, and get a weird feeling like it's too big- listen to your instincts. Maizey never regurged until I fed him a huge mouse, technically within limits, but I still wondered, but thought, well, if he gets it down, then it's ok. He got it down, but regurged. That was January. I haven't been able to get him to stop regurging, even 20g mice, ever since. The vet can find no medical reason. Now Maize lives on multiple fuzzies. So far, so good. Never could work him slowly back up to adult mice.

Thanks Nanci, I won't be trying the jumbos for awhile. I figure let them eat the adults first and by the time they have gone thru those, I'll look at giving them jumbos. The king on the other hand, we'll see. :D

On your site.. Not accusing you of jacking the pictures, but thought it was odd to see other folks pictures, when you built your own site..

About how much did Maizey weigh when you tried the jumbo?

388g. (I fell off the Degei wagon in May, but I had records back in january! For some reason I've just been writing on a calender. I should go back to electronic- that was so easy to find.)

Doesn't look like much of a bulge, does it. I even had a thread about it. Probably just set off some physiologic thing- some anatomical intolerance to large meals. (Maize got tested and treated for parasites, tested for any bacterial infections- nothing turned up except the worms).

Wow, Maizey was a real porker back then...

Look at him now- I think he looks healthier. This is around 350 grams. I'm glad this came up- I'm not going to be in such a state about Maize being too skinny any more.
