Nox and her eggs

Equinox and her eggs :)

She was a little late for Mother's day, and a little early for by bf's birthday. But right on time according to her schedule.

Equinox is a charcoal het amel ph blood red we got last year from ArpeggioAngel (along with Kashmir, also charcoal het amel ph blood red: he's the daddy of the clutch)

This is the only clutch we did this year, and likely the only one we'll ever do. We wanted to breed them at least once, both for my own curiosity and for my daughter, who is a zookeeper in the making (she's currently torn between being a vet and a zookeeper or herpetologist...but knows she definitely wants to do something with animals when she grows up)

She laid a total of 22 eggs, with two definite slugs.

Thanks :) My bf told me to make sure and post so Katie could see :)

(and it appears Nox wasn't quite done laying...we left her alone overnight, and there are at least three more eggs in with her. My poor girl)
