For the last month or so my cornsnake (who is atleast 2 yrs old) has not beein eating and recentlyhas been taking its food and placing it into the water dish. Does anyone have any idea about what is happenning or what the snake is trying to tell me?

Appreciate it

sounds like it wants some better food? :grin01: try a live pinky maybe?

sorry wish i knew cuz that in all seriousness has to suck! :shrugs:

Does your snake just sit in the bowl with the prey, or does it drop the prey in the bowl and leave??

I noticed at the snake store last time I was there, the baby snakes were all being fed, and maybe 20% of them were in their water bowls eating their mice!

no, i believe that he just drops them off, he has gone off feeding for awhile and i figured it was due to the breeding season. I havent noticed anything wrong "physically" with the snake.
