Lick the back of the hand, Stick some salt on it... pour yourself out a shot and grab a slice of lime or lemon... Lick the salt off your hand, down the shot then squeeze the fruit-based chaser of your choice INTO YOUR EYE. Thus proving you are a REAL MAN.

Mmm one of my favourites. Got two bottles sitting on the side in that photo up there!.

I remember the first time i dabbled with absinthe when i was 16... Was some polish stuff, (Quite weak for Absinthe at 55% but very VERY nice - and available from all good retailers so pick it up with your sunday shopping. ;) ) Underestimated the alcohol content a little and after a few louched shots had gone down started hitting it straight... Didn't feel much for the first 20minutes (and 10 shots downed later!) Stood up to go get myself a beer - Promptly went dizzy and spent the rest of the night slumped out on my mates couch watching cheesy action films and mumbling lie a common street bum.

First time we done it my mate broke his leg..None of us realised it was broke, he spent the rest of the night going to the loo crab style with his two hands on the floor and his one good leg out in front.. we spent the rest of the night calling him Clyde.... Sad but funny...

lol ouch snorting salt i've never actually had absynthe although i am from a polish heritage gotta make my people proud lol is it legal in canada? and is it expensive because i definately gotta get me some of that stuff
 
Absinthes actually originally french, But its a popular drink in Poland and theres quite a few Polish companies who makes it.

I don't know about the legalities of it in Canada i do however know that there are some silly rules about it in america and they put large restrictions on the ingredients so the Absinthe over there isn't the same as the stuff we get over here.

Best bet is probably to just find an online retailer. If they sell it in Canada, its probably legal.
 
It's illegal in lots of the world.. It made Van Gogh cut his ear off...LOL
Its made from Wormwood which apparently is close to a type of cannabis called skunk.

Pernod is quite nice, Not the best though. Dont think i'd pay that much for a bottle of it! I can pick it up for equivalent to around $30 in my local supermarket.
 
yah me either although ive had like a migrane for like 3 days too so getting hammered will only help my throat and intensify the rest of my illness
