What the hell...

My last clutch is hatching since yesterday. I did Frankencorn x Aneryblood het Hypo Charcoal...

...that means Paradox Tessera het Hypo Anery Bloodred 50% ph Charcoal x Aneryblood het Hypo Charcoal

I got 10 good eggs and a few slugs and the result is...this. 10 times.

I know it's theoretically possible to get 10 Tesseras het Anery Blood ph Hypo Charcoal out of this pairing, but honestly...beeing struck by a lightning two times in a row is possible, too. How often happens something like this??

Since I hatched the parents from Frankencorn here AND the parents from the female - I'm 1000% sure of the genetics of these animals. I hatched Frankencorn from Tessera het Hypo Anery Blood ph Charcoal x Ghostblood het Charcoal in 2013...that makes him a Tessera het Hypo Anery Blood ph Charcoal. The Aneryblood het Hypo Charcoal female hatched in 2008 from Pewter het Anery x Hypo het Aneryblood and is a proven breeder.

What happend with this clutch??? I should have gotten at least Anerys, Bloods and nonTesseras but ended up with a full clutch of Tesseras without any paintjob or nonTessera?! Any idears...? I'm beginning to think that Frankencorns phenotype is not the only thing which is 'different' in this animal...

I'm thankful for ANY guess and advise! Please, feel free to let me know what you think!

Nobody any idea...? :( :sobstory:

Well....here're some of my Ghostbloods het Charcoal Striped after first shed...

Maybe you should make a separate post about the Frankencorn clutch? It would be really intresting!!

Im sorry if I haven't read everything about frankencorn but is it possible it's a super tessera and your getting all tessera babies?

I had the same problem before I sold my entire collection. My tessera's 1st year breeding was to a caramel. I got two eggs, both were butter babies. Unknown of the genetics I assumed he was (het)caramel/butter. The next year I bred him to a bunch of caramel related genes and never produced anything caramel! I did get albino and stripe from the breedings but no caramel. I also bred him to a snow stripe that was a virgin raised by me and produced a snow stripe out of it. Now I'm thinking he's (het)- anery/albino/stripe.

I sold everything and the breeder who bought him to date has never produced anything with anery, only albino and stripe. I JUST DONT GET IT!

I feel your confusion jimGERcream

Well, he shouldn't be a Super Tessera since I hatched him from Tessera het Ghostblood ph Charcoal x Ghostblood het Charcoal.

Here are some of my hatchlings after second shed. Enjoy.
