Oh, Craigslist...

Um, yeah...those rare albinos...if I'd only known I would have sold all mine for waaaay more!

In all honesty I hate the Snake kits that are sold by some petstores.
Most petstores carry this one http://www.gotpetsupplies.com/produ...bJQJ8KnArJyvrpz1L386IctkiqEZqL3J6eRoCJjXw_wcB
Or one like it

I got a kit for my little guy. It did come with a lamp but it also came with a UTH. It was on sale and I got it for a killer price. Unfortunately, turns out it must have been on the shelf for a looong time. Imagine my disappointment when I opened it up and saw a bunch of really awesome coupons inside..that expired a year and a half ago.

The UTH barely worked, and the hide and water bowl seemed discolored. I ended up using nothing but the tank in the end. Ah, well.

Well this is a major "What the heck?!" :( (Warning: dead snake pics)

I can't quite tell, but I am wondering if that's a gopher snake, not a corn. Gophers have a similar look to corns but are a bit bigger and they're pretty common out here. I'd like to think someone placed an already-dead snake on their car rather than killed one. Poor thing, regardless.

Definitely a corn snake.
Gopher snakes generally look to be dark brown/black and yellow/tan and their markings don't have much space between them.

How sad :(

Here's a good one...selling "kingsnakes"....evidently disguised as black ratsnakes so you can get those "poisonous" snakes out of your yard....he doesn't know what an eastern kingsnake looks like and he evidently also doesn't realize that moving snakes from their known territory can lead to their demise.....

Saw an add for pitbull puppies where the "breeder" said they could be picked up 6/20 but they would be 9 days old a the time. I emailed and asked if he meant 7/20 but that would just make the puppies 5 weeks old. So I sent also a few links and info, told him about to encourage his puppy buyers to go to local petcos for early socialization and training etc.
HOping some of the info reaches trough..

5 weeks old is far too young for any puppy either! 8 weeks minimum should be practiced and buying from someone who cares so little for their puppies that they would sell them at 5 weeks makes them a puppy mill or backyard breeder....the last place I want to get a pitbull from....what the hell is wrong with people?? I work with far too many dogs that have "5-week-old puppy syndrome" as it is...... Oh and on that angry ball......"No" your research.....well I "know" that much!

REALLY? Ok My bad... I figured auto correct got him... still sounds funny though..
You learn something new every day.

Meg you work with dogs???

Shiari your opinion in morph forum would be appreciated.

Yes, I train dogs on the side and foster rescues and do rehab....he still spelled know wrong....

ha cool!

I am full time trainer too, been training for 16 years now.. Nice to meet another trainer!
God knows we need more!

Awesome!! Then you've seen the mess that people make! I saw a guy with a large puppy today...turns out it's a Cane corso.....when I asked if I could greet him he said he's got a little attitude...fearful, insecure...scooted back to the owner and climbed between his feet.....hmmmmmm, great....a 3 month old cane corso that's already showing signs of defensiveness and insecurity....should be fun once he makes 200 lbs and is biting everyone.....I suggested puppy classes and socialization to help with the nervousness.....yikes!

He won't listen.. I work with cane corso rescue (nation wide) and we have huge problems with these kind of pups. and yes I do, I work with lots of rescues, fosters, rehab. I specialize in aggression and anxiety. I wish more people would realize how much puppy classes help..

I specialize in dog aggression and feral/fearful. I generally foster dogs the shelters call me about....which are almost always feral or unsocialized dogs...love working with them.
