Taken from the ad:

"I have a 5 yr old Ball python and a 16+ yr old Arizona Wandering Garter that have lived together since the ball python was 6 months old."

but then ...

"I am asking $200 for everything and that you have some knowledge of reptile care, not hard but I want someone to take them who will take care of them"

So knowledge of reptile care says that ball pythons and garter snakes most likely have different care requirements?!

So, he wants someone that will take care of them...hopefully better then he has...different care requirements, nevermind co-habing is just a bad idea...plus, isn't $200 really really expensive for a re-home?

Even better " I am asking $200 for everything and that you have some knowledge of reptile care, not hard but I want someone to take them who will take care of them, as ball pythons can live a long time and the Garters usually only live 7-10 yrs but this guy has beaten those odds! Looking fort $150 for EVERYTHING!"

Soo...he's looking for $200, no wait! $150! No wait $100! No wait someone who knows what they are doing!! *groan*

How is that poor 'bowl' python not burned? He's literally wrapped around his lamp!

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know why, other than ignorance, someone would put the whole heat lamp in the tank with him when they could just put it 6 inches higher on top of the lid and out of harms way.

I had a guy at work trying to tell me my corn snakes were de-fanged, but that one day there would be babies hiding in the substrate, and they would not have been defanged because I wouldn't know they were there, and then I would be bitten and die. Some people just assume all snakes have fangs unless removed??

"I have (1) Crested Gecko, (2) Leopard geckos, a Mediterranean house gecko and another skink type lizard in a large aquarium with stand. All supplies included. This is a very nice setup. I will take 250.00 for everything."

Stupid people. These animals don't even have the same husbandry. I feel sorry for them, but at least they look fed

This is from our version of Craigslist, Kijiji.

And when that gem of an ad got no response, can't imagine why not, LOL, he posted this one:

Part of me feels like I should email him and point out WHY he's not getting anywhere with his ads, but a much bigger part of me is enjoying watching to see just how long it takes him to get it, if he ever does, lol.

It could be like the car ad we see every so often. 1963 chevy for sale. $600 Hasn't run in years. stored in barn. Husband passed and I need it gone. And it turns out to be a 1963 Corvette worth $20,000 in its barn fresh condition LOL
You should inquire to see what kind of snake it is :)
Maybe a $600 garter snake or a $600 scale-less corn ??? Yeah never know.
