I've had my first hatchling corn snake, Floyd for about a month now, and I've just acquired my second corn snake, a beautiful 6 year old amel girl. I don't plan on any more right away because I rent and don't want to have to worry so much about when we eventually need to find a new place (although we are hoping to rent-to-own this house). But I am falling in love! Corn snakes are so cute and friendly and just adorable. As it is I am itching to hang out with Syn, but I want to give her a few days to get familiar with the sights and sounds of our house before I start holding her. I also need to add to her viv, when I brought her home she had one plant lying on the aspen, and a tupperware for water. I have added a plastic flowerpot and adjusted her UTH (when I picked up her tank at the old place, it was unregulated and the glass was uncomfortably hot to my hand), but I want to get her a proper dish and some nice hides and plants and things. I think her previous owner meant well but just didn't do any research into proper corn snake care. Sorry for my bit of a ramble, but I am just loving these snakes so much
