Oh my God! How do you do this?

Nanci NO!!! lol

And Michelle, so basically Im doomed... I am glad to see Im not the only sucker though... Im looking at two snakes right now here in the forum.. Maybe I should just get a huge rack and buy my heart away..

And yes I can say I have no other hobbies than animals, I am at my happiest doting around them.. sighs...

Gotta admit though I am so sad I didn't start corns earlier, it really has turned out to everything I thought it would be..

Yes, love, you are doomed. They are such amazing creatures, and every single one of mine have a different personality. Most people don't think of snakes as having personalities, and compared to dogs and cats they are definitely not as "in your face", but when you get to know them each really does show different characteristics.

I wish I knew then what I know now too, they are even better than I thought. I think that's what most people think when getting their first corn, it will be just another pet, but they are so interesting that you can't stop with one. I, too, am happiest making sure my kiddos have a great life.

And DuxorW is right, there are worse hobbies/habits to have! Welcome to the asylum!

This post really should be on the Joke thread!

My name is Michelle ("hello Michelle") and I am a cornaholic. It started with one glance at a picture of a Fire Corn, I HAD to have a peek, so I bought her. I told myself it was a one time thing, it won't happen again, etc. I always said I will never be that girl who has hundreds of pets, but then I got caught up with all the images of corns on the internet. After Scarlett, I figured, "what's one more?", and then I had a couple of empty aquariums that I thought should be filled, and what's the harm? Then came MORE aquariums (the justifiable reason for another snake) and MORE corns, I can't help myself. So I turned to this forum for help. Forum? Help? No, honey, this is a Corn Crack den!

But I am loving every minute of it!
this is the best post ever...
I remember someone on here saying that corn snakes r like potato chips...u cant have just one
or two..or three......or twenty...
i just got my second and the only thing stopping me from getting a third is my sister.....
unfortunately
im starting to accumulate my own list of morphs id like to have when I get my own place

Yeah I have the corn fever... Right now I have baby tubs and flex watt tape, big guy has UTH, once they get out of their quarantine areas I will put them all in a rack system so i can get more..

But again, I don't do anything else, they are amazing and yes their personalities are so distinct... I sit and narrate sometimes to myself what they are thinking as they are cruising around.. and I love taking pictures and catch them in various lights...

lol I can't wait until they are all big enough and I get my bigger place that Im saving for, Im going to set up viv:s as decoration color coordinated with the morph.. lol

Michelle, you're too funny! Hi, my name is Sharan, and I'm also a cornoholic.

The only way I've stopped myself for this year is by telling myself that I really don't need any more baby cages. But once these guys graduate to adult cages, and I have 4 baby cages sitting empty, it will be really hard not to want to fill them again. For this year, I think I'm safe, but when the hatching starts again in the spring... well... I guess I'll have to come up with a new way to limit myself!

It is so difficult not to keep buying these fun little guys. I just got my baby honey a couple months ago and told myself I wouldn't get anything new until he was at least a yearling. I almost broke that promise last week when I fell in love with a 2012 amber motley at the local Repticon. She had a great hurricane pattern and a wonderfully calm personality. I was so close to buying her. Fortunately I had my girlfriend there and she reminded me that I didn't have space at the moment and that I needed to be patient.

My problem is I buy a rack because I need space if I'm gonna get more babies...but then I have 12 more slots to fill ;)

It's a vicious cycle.

Stay away from my babies thread, I have a lava blood, lava tessera, and lava cinder I'll be posting Sunday!

I hate all of you people... I really do... Im going to a reptile expo Sunday.. I already know Im a lost cause there...

I so failed today.... I have 5 new corns... 3 babies and 2 sub adults that were discarded breeding projects one with a bad eye... 2 were super steals on top of it.. and I got it all for less than 200 dollars.. Oh God bad addiction... On tuesday a mail older corn is coming too then Im up on 11.. And I AM DONE... No more corns.. I have pinks, stripes, motleys, yellow, greys up the ying yang now... But oh my god I ended up with a delicious collection... more pics coming soon. Im settling them all and snapping a couple of pics.. Oh and one guy was trying to sell me an unknown (most likely opal or similar) that he got in a trade not knowing anything about for 70 bucks, don't think so... another one a normal motley no known hets or whatever for similar price.. There gotta be a few idiots on those expos..
