Oh Elle, I just spotted this! How is Lacey doing, I know it's only a couple of days since you posted, but are their any updates?

Fingers crossed here, that everything goes a lot smoother this time round :)

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Sorry I haven't replied or been around the boards. My laptop died as well as my desktop, its total hell.

Lacey is roaming like mad and looking mahoosive. Shes going into shed so I expect her to drop slugglets (or perhaps egglets) in about 20 days.

She fed last night, which is great because she was looking a bit thin for a while...
 
Thanks Dean. This whole experience has made me realise just how little control us humans have over the situation. All we can do is put the right pairings together (if they hook up) and let nature take it's course. It's a game of luck and chance and all I can do is provide her with a lay box... it's down to her now and always has been.
 
Elle I really feel for you and I sincerely hope Lacey lays without problems :)

Have you seen the updates on my thread, "15 days post pre-lay shed and nothing"? Angel has had me nearly demented and I've definitely got more grey hair ;) She's even had her post lay shed and is still laying an egg every few days :shrugs:

Fingers crossed for a good outcome for you and maybe even a couple of fertile eggs :)

Thanks Sue. I havent seen your thread updates because I have had NO internet for over a week (the laptop died shortly after the desktop)... IM going mad LOL

But I will go and look now while I do have access :)
 
Lacey is showing the first blue signs today... not long till her prelay shed. Shes looking HUGE, bigger than last time and the bumps are far more pronounced. I have a slight glimmer of hope...

Heres my HUGE girl, in another prelay shed at the moment. (she always looks obese when she coils up as she flattens herself out and she was fed recently )

You can have an edit button if you pay the contributors fee. I think its a small amount to pay for the year when you think of all the benefits you get out of the forum.

I couldn't live without the edit button anymore...
