Ok...it's not a corn snake but I need help naming it!!!

SnakeLady1990

~Miss Christina~
Hello, my name is Christina and I recently finally obtained my first 'monster snake' after months of research and learning...(yes, I know how big they get, what they will grow into eating, how much room they will need, I have 4 different sized cages for it to grow into biggest beeing 8 feet long, ect.)...

Now only one thing left....

A NAME!

She is a normal, 100% het for granite and albino. She is tiny right now and very sweet, hasn't struck at me and only hissed at me the day I got her which I can understand after being in a little bitty deli cup. And she wasn't mean when she hissed...she just sat on my shoulder and 'whispered' in my ear, haha.

I originally was going to name her 'Fudge Brownie' because of her colors but that has proven to be to hard for my boyfriend to remember and a bit of a mouthful. He keeps calling her Cookie...but I don't like 'simple' names so how can I extend this in a 'unique' way?

For example, my ball python's name is 'Chocolate Drizzle' and Cocoa for short.

I was thinking something that 'Cookie' could be short for.

Toll House, for the Toll House brand of chocolate chips used in cookies. Much better than some of the other brands of chips! And her brown is chocolatey goodness, and her tan coloring is the coloring of properly baked made from scratch cookies.

Snicker Doodle? they are some of my favorite cookies :D plus you already said she likes to whisper in your ear, so snicker fits that way too lol

There's always Mocha, Snickers, Hershey, Candy, etc.

Yeah, true, but I know my boyfriend will never stop calling it cookie now, haha...so something that extends that name... I was thinking 'Chocolate Chip Cookie' but that is kinda plain...hmmmm

I really like Mocha...I wonder if I can talk my boyfriend into calling it that, haha.

I have heard of Snicker Doodles but have no idea what they are or whats in them, haha. What is a snicker doodle?

And yes, she does snicker at me, lol.

Soft like her...sweet like her...cinnamony like her...

I am making a list and will post polls up later. I have this posted on 5 of my forums, haha. Right now the list stands

Snicker Doodle
Cookie Monster

I am hoping for FIVE for the polls :)

I tell you one thing, when she hits the 8 feet marker, I sure she doesn't call -you- cookie! :)

Well, you've got guts taking her on, I'd give you that much.

Name... why not just cookie? sounds cute.

Mmm...snicker doodles are the best! My friend has a blue-tongued skink named Snickers aka Snicker doodle and a white sided black rat named Cookie lol!

Haha, it won't take her long to reach 8 feet...in the first two years they can reach 10ft so yeah...I probably won't be a 'cookie' to her, haha. More like a nice lunch. But she is a sweetheart and I trust her. For a baby burm...she is not as nippy or hissy and people always say they are...I was expecting my first snake bite to come from her...guess not...she is tamer than my adult female ball python...I can say that much.

And why not just cookie? I am a complicated women...haha.

For example...here are some of my other snakes names.

Chocolate Drizzle aka Cocoa
Fanta Cee aka Fanta
General Lee aka The General

I like two names that can be condenced into one small 'nickname'...I like to be unique so when I start my educational program on reptiles, I can say 'This is so and so' and it sound really cool, haha.

oooo, I just thought of one...

Maybe...

Cookies and Cream? Because she is dark brown with a light cream colored lining?

I actually thought about cookie cream, it sounds cute.

As for when she is an adult... it's not that I do not trust my snakes. But even the best of us make mistakes, and a mistake with this size of an animal can turn out really bad.

All I ask is that you keep safe and once she hits the 4-5 feet mark, make sure to handle/work with her only when there's another person present.

No worries there. I don't handle any of my snakes w/o my hubby around...haha. So definatly not a full grown burm. Plus...when she gets to about 50lbs...I am going to have to grow some muscle, hahaha.
