I just bought an Abbott's Okeetee a month ago. He's awesome, He's an 04' and has very nice borders. I attached a photo, enjoy and i hope it helps, personally i would say yours is a very nice normal. John
very pretty snake but prob. a normal. :)

I payed 35 for the snake.. i said it was 15 more than what they were selling normals (they sell normals for $20) Either way I am happy and i just wanted a positive ID so now i know that He is a normal... with Okeeteeish looks.. lol. He is beautiful and im happy with him. THanks for all the info guys, i still have a ton to learn!

Sorry for the late reply. Just thought I'd add; mine was purchased as an expensive "Reverse Okeetee" but I think absolutely no less of him knowing he's 'just' a Creamsicle.

Pet stores just have a habit of putting more exotic-sounding labels on them and hoping we don't know the difference - and that's if they even do of course!

hmmm, i bought him from a breeder that specifically told me a abbott's okeetee. The breeder is a member of the forums here. I hope he's not a normal because i'm pretty darn sure i paid more for an ABBOTT's than a NORMAL. :shrugs:

You've got a gorgeous baby, and if it makes you feel any better at all...normals are selling for $70-80 in my area, and not from a reputable source! I paid $50 for mine, and he's a beauty, while yours is stunning...depends on the coloration you like best...that's all! Enjoy!

OK, how 'bout mine?

I think our Tia had good borders and dark red saddles. She was advertised as "Okeetee" at the Reptile Expo in Oct in St. Louis. Listed at $30, I bartered to $25. I think she's a beautiful snake.

Your call, "Okeetee", "Lookatee", "Classic", or "Normal"??? I think those borders are pretty thick. You can see esp. well on that last pic where she's bending down at the edge of the deli cup...

What about these 2? They are 2 different corn snakes.. Notice the pattern on the head of the first one as well..
