Ty guys :)

I'm a proud mama :p

I really miss my own camera though.... The only pics that turn out are in his feed box. If I try to take them while holding him they are washed out :uhoh:

that's an abbots okeetee right?

Sure looks like it. I mean I personally would consider those borders thick enough to be labeled an Abbott's Okeetee but I don't think she's calling it that, (based on her signature).

He's actually a Love line Okeetee :)

I purchased him from a breeder in Ottawa, and he states all of his Okeetee's come from Love stock.

Thank you so much for the nice comments... I am just tickled watching him change :)

WoW! this guy is VERY GORGEOUS!

I'm planning to get an Okeetee myself (I hope)... I'm actually 98% sure I will get an Okeetee. I still want to go to a reptile expo to check out the different types of corns. All I have to go off on is picture off of the internet, and I know that pictures usually don't do justice to the colors. Therefore, I want to see them live.
I also like Hypo Lavanders and Blue Motleys, but I really, really like the Okeetees that look very similar to this one. (Thick borders, deep red saddles, vibrant orange background, etc)
If I am going to go with an Okeetee, I'm going to purchase the guy from Michelle (Creatures Of The Night). I've heard good things about her, and I another good thing is that she lives around these parts... That way, I don't have to worry about any lengthy shipping. (I don't trust many carriers with fragile objects, let alone animals  lol)

and again, that is one gorgeous Okeetee you have there! I'm jealous :p lol :)
Do you have any pictures of when he wasn't fully colored like that? (Basically when he was still a hatchling and didn't fully develop his bright colors yet)?

aww..thank you :) He's my sweet baby..lol

I have lots of pics..lol...here are a couple to compare...

Sept 15th/07..two days after I got him..he was 6 grams :)

Wow, that's an amazing and drastic change in color.
He is very stunning!
Those black borders almost look very fuzzy and soft to the touch (closer to his head), I really like that :) Beautiful creature!

HE really seems to like that log thing :) I just got mine a tree thing to climb on and it doubles as a hide :)

He loves that branch...lol...my okeetee thinks he's an ATB :shrugs: He lounges looped on the branch all day sometimes. And he's built a little hide in the aspen under the bottom of the branch :)

that's nice, how do you mean "built" like just went arround enough to make a little shape? lol, Star I think is abou to shed becasue she hasn't been in her hides all night, and she just ate but is staying at the cool side??? I hope she doesn't regurge!

He's burrowed a pocket to curl up in under the aspen...there's about three tunnels going in and out of it too..lol
