OMG HELP... Found some skin left on .. i think

Hey all.
Ok will I took my baby out yesterday for the first time and i noticed something on his back lil over half way down. Its looks almost white. Not sure if this is from is last shed. Which the pet shop said he shed bout 2 weeks ago and it was a perfect shed. He didnt' shed again cause I checked the tank. Could this just be somethign stuck on him or.....

ALSO

I know I only had him 4 days when I took him out but.... he was cruzing his tank every nite and sometimes during the day from the start. And yesterday I was changing his water and stuff and he came out and started smelling me and stuff so I left my hand there and he came over to me. So I decided to pick him up. Boy what a experience. That was my first time holding a snake. It was awesome. Only kept him up for about 3- 5 mins. Then last nite he was cruzing around again so I decided to feed him, and BOY DO I HAVE A GREAT EATER. I had the pinky in his deli cup for like 2 secs <litteraly> when he grapped it and started eating it. Only took him bout 3 - 4 mins from start to finish. lol It was so cool to watch. P.S. Check in the photo gallery in a few cause I have a few more pics.

Glad he's doing so well for you! You bought a snake without ever having held a snake??? Remember now, don't handle him for 48 hours from when you fed him. Don't panic if you don't see poo, either- it's really hard to find it from babies.

Don't know what the white is- pics would help, but if it's just a few retained scales in the middle of his back, it's nothing to worry about. After he's done digesting, Tuesday night, then you can run him through a damp wash cloth and see if that gets them off.

Whew tks nanci. lol yea i always wanted a snake but there are no snake in NL other then what ppl buys but i dont' know anyone who got snakes. lol He was very good to i must say. As fer pics. I took a few yesterday but they didnt' come out very good. I think there is something wrong with my camera. The pics came out blurry.

I'd like to add something to nanci's comment. No, a few unshed scales aren't a big deal and are usually good to get off, but definately keep an eye out for retained (unshed) eyecaps and unshed pieces at the tip of the tail. Those can lead to problems if not taken care of
