I See Snakes...
Even though we weren't supposed to come home with anything other than the BP I was getting from Heather, Stephen somehow talked Tim into this little boy:

He is quite adorable though, so it's easy to see why we ended up with him. Now I just have to hunt through my pre-approved name list and pic out a suitable name for him.

Very nice! btw, I'm jealous of all these nice tongue shots. All the ones I've had so far end up blurry. :(

I don't blame you--that is a stunning stripe! Amazing pictures too! My babies that size are always trying to run away, so hard to get a good shot!

You have more restraint than I do. Stephen has so many gorgeous snakes it would be hard to pass up most any thing he has.

That's a beautiful boy. Congrats!

There was one at the show I really liked ( Corn Snake ) but I was out of spendable cash, but seen a miami female that was far superior than others I have ever seen first hand or pictured.. Someone is going to score on a beautiful Miami..

Tom, no cream in it.. Just ultra in the mix..

I think that's why Tim wouldn't let me go see what else Stephen had brought with him. He was mighty scared I'd find something else I liked I think. lol

You know, when I first started taking pics with my point and shoot - I was frustrated by the blurry or non-existent tongue shots. But after practicing for months, they started showing up. The key is to take as many pictures as the snake will tolerate and to take them fairly close together. This works especially well when the snake 'poses' for the camera and just sits there. Cool mornings and evenings help too - because they don't move as fast. lol

Thanks for the comments and compliments everyone! I really can't wait to see what he looks like as he matures. =)

Oh wow, what a beautiful little snake! I think this has pretty much sealed it for me. Almost everything looks better with racing stripes. LOL
