But so far it seems to be going well. The happy couple after their first successful lock and right before I removed him again.

She finished laying today. A total of 20, but only 11 look viable. Not a bad little clutch for Tessy's first time! Lets hope they all take after daddy. She looks so deflated now, but she's alert and not a single stuck egg to worry about.
 
Dad's a 2012 from Walter Smith, het caramel motley. Her only known het is anery, so I'm expecting normal and normal tessera, but we shall see. She eagerly took two little slit hoppers today.
