My little black rat snake died yesterday. He refused his diced pinkie the last couple of times, seemed to really slow down lately, although he hung out either under the light or over his heated side and the past couple of days his skin seemed to get really wrinkly. I don't know what happened.

I'm not bawling my eyes out over him. I'm just really, really, REALLY bummed about it. And I think I'm ready to swear off of babies for a while. Just juvees and adults from now one. I think their more robust.

Sigh! I'm gonna miss that one.
