Kiss My Hearse
We picked up a new pup from a local rescue last Sat. We aren't sure exactly what he is, but we think there's Chihuahua, possibly Min Pin and/or Shiba Inu. He fits in perfectly with Winslowe and Sebastian. They are cutest little pack.

Yes he is a cutie.My only question (since you brought up finances on more then one occasion) how are you able to afford him?

That was a panic moment when my husband initially lost his job in May and I thought I needed to do everything I could to lighten the load, so I sold off a number of snakes to help out. Things are actually going well for us now. He didn't want me to sell the snakes, but I freaked out at the idea of his not having a job. It's ok.

I actually don't see any Shiba in his face. But I certainly see the Chi! Maybe a different angle would show it off better...

I agree, very cute dog. Congrats on the new pup, and kudos for adopting.

I like the coined breed names too Ravenspirit. We have a suspected Dachshund/Chihuahua that we have tried to coin a name for. My brother says Dachiuaha (Dock-ee-wha-wha), and I say Chihuachshund (Chi-walk-shund) :).
 
I think the "official" name for that mix is Chiweenie... strange designer mutt "breed" names. :/
 
He looks too slender to be a Shiba cross to me...they're THICK, solid dogs. Those ears sure do look Shiba-ish though. :)

They are called Chiweenies. Or the Mexican hotdog lol. I have a chiwee ;)
 
I know he doesn't look very thick, but his chest is broad, much more than a Chi. He's got the tight, curled tail and thicker fur like a Shiba. He really reminds me of our friends' Shiba in certain ways, but he's definitely part Chi. No doubt about that.
