Overnight Humidity Rise

I have an UTH and the water dish is on the cool side of the tank. During the day the humidity is 40-50% but during the night it creeps up and by morning is it 60-75% but usually goes back down after an hour or so. So im wondering if this is ok for my corn or if there is a way to prevent this from happening?

Hey xlevix,

You live in South Texas there is no way to stop it unless you install a new A/C system with humidity control and the rise and off of the humidity is normal in a house with normal A/C. Right now we are having cool mornings with high humidity and great days with low humidity so the humidity in your home will rise and fall.

Blue is right on that the rise and fall of the humidity will not hurt your corn.

Love the Fatman
