Pacman is dead

I went into my son's room last night and found our Pacman frog had died. We had him for about 3 or 4 years. It was sad because it was the first pet my son and I bought together. He was such a cute little frog.

Awww im so sorry to hear. Post some pictures of the frogs legacy :( I don't think i have ever seen him!

How is your son taking it?

I'm sorry about that....
I like frogs, we have a whole pond full.
I hate it when I find one dead, but a pet one must be much worse...

Just make sure it's not in a weird hibernation mode. My friend came to work all sad saying his pacman frog died and a month later he came in all happy saying that it wasn't dead. Of course we all wondered, but didn't ask, why he still had it after thinking it died a month ago....

This is actually what I was thinking. I have been keeping an eye on it for a couple of weeks because it was being unusually "lazy". It was moving a little bit. When I went in last night, it body was sunk in and it look real gross.

Yeah, it's dead then, too bad. I see them everywhere now, so a replacement won't be hard to find, even the tomato frogs are getting more popular as well. I'm thinking of converting one of my tanks into a sweet home for a couple dart frogs myself...

oh shame, they look such brilliant frogs too, I've nearly got one about 3 times now, still resisting for now, they remind me of Bottersnikes.
Will your son want a new one? My youngest is now over the loss of his pygmy chameleon, luckily his leopard gecko suddenly got stupidly tame about a week after, from squeaking and squirming to running onto his hand out of the viv.

Albino. :)

That is great looking. Mine never got that big. Only about two inches. I tried to feed it pinkies but it wanted nothing to do with it.
I do not own an Albino but mine is just as big as the pictured one. I feed mine a variety of stuff. Crickets, superworms, fish, anything I can really find and feed him. We do feed ours a pinky every blue moon but that every once in awhile. I think they are great pets, but are not easy to care for.
Pen, for it to be that size and only living for a few years kinda thinking something was wrong there. These guys get to the size of Dinner plates. On average they live from 7-10 years.
