Wow.. I like that second one.. Gotta love Anery.s :) I'll have to see if I can talk John into letting me get a few more babies before we move :) As of right now, I'm completely dreding packing everyone up and moving to TN... I hope we don't lose anyone.. In whatever since of the word.. o_O.. Hmm.. if it wasn't going to be 4 months from now I'd see if you could hold him with a deposit, or even complete payment.. bah, I may be counting my chickens before they've hatched though.. I still have to talk to John.. :) I'll PM you in a few days when he gets back from his trip to Vegas.. hopefully he'll be in a good modd.. lol!

Where in TN are you moving to? I live near Nashville. Speaking of TN...do you know about the reptile laws here? You will need a permit to bring your snakes into the state and also a permit to breed them. You can PM me for more details, if needed.

To be honest, I'm not sure if the anery is even eating yet. I'll have to look up his/her record tomorrow to see. If it's not, then it won't be for sale until it is eating F/T unscented mice without hesitation!

I'll keep you posted.

Works out nicely then I suppose :) I was expecting something like that, as I read somewhere Corns were found as far west as Memphis or something.. darn.. Ok, another thing on our to-do list.. I'll PM you about it for the details, thanks! :)

So if a snow motley has spots of red, spots of black, and belly checkers, would it be a triodox? (waaa waa waa, waaaaaaaaaa) :sidestep:
Am I the only one that got the linguistic humor here? Good one :p

That depends....what color are the checkers?
no, it doesn't, checkers on a motley would be inherently paradoxical, I hatched a couple this weekend that have 2 or 3 checkers on their entire ventrum! Weirdness. I'll try to get pictures.

Oh, and we're moving to Memphis :) He's got family there.. everyone wish me luck! :sidestep:

Cool! I live not too far from Memphis, relatively speaking that is. My son and I try to get up there about once a month to go to the zoo. They have a fairly decent herpitarium there. I encourage you to check it out once you get settled in. Oh, the PETCO in Memphis is horrible, but the one down in Olive Branch MS (about 15 minutes outside of Memphis) is a very good one.

Well, it's all speculative, because I don't think it has been proven yet what goes on genetically in a paradox or a ruby freckled or how they are inherited, and I have to put the disclaimer that these are just observations on what I've seen out there and how they have been labeled. But.... from what I have seen I would comprehend that "Ruby Freckled" and "Paradox" may be two separate things. "Ruby Freckled" seems like it has something out of whack with it's "red" production. Strong colored red freckles show through on saddles AND background where normally most corns are not that red. It shows through most obviously on Snows and Anerys, I really don't know if anyone has "spotted" it in normal corns. :grin01: "Paradox" seems to behave like a failure in the displayed morph to completely "do away" with normal coloration. Either on Snows, Anerys, or Amels, colored patches show up but with the color being consisant with "normal" coloration. For example, black would only show up near the borders, deep reds in the saddles, and lighter colors for the background.

Decided to be a defender for a change, got to keep it varied! :wavey:

Ahh, when we went back to visit his family we got to go to the zoo.. the Herp. House was very awesome, but I have to say the Dippin Dots were my favorite o_O lol.. I hadn't had them in years.. What can I say, Ice Cream is my first love... Anyway, the permits are a bummer, but I think it'll be ok.. why is the song Green Acres playing over and over in my head? lol j/k.. kind of..

MMMMM... Dippin' Dots...yep, they still have the dippin dots stands...I know right where they are, too. And the little mini doughnuts stand...I could get fat at the Memphis Zoo.

Memphis is bright lights, big city. Maybe not as big as NY or LA, but it isn't quite Green Acres. Now if you were to drive about 100 miles South to where I live....It is definitely Green Acres here. We can't get DSL, but most of us have indoor plumbing...

BTW, just a bit of useless, trivial information, my middle name is Layne.

Lol, I just joke around about going from AZ (West Coast -kind of- baby! Whoot! lol j/k) to TN.. I'm surprised I didn't go into shock when I saw all those.. gosh.. what were they called... oh yeah! Trees! lmao.. I know Memphis isn't the worst place to live, by far.. but it's still a lot further away from my beloved Ca.... I'll be looking forward to finally visiting Fl though :).. Oh, and don't tell anyone (lol) but my name is actually Sarah Elaine Gallagher.. So my middle name is where the Laine comes from :) I just got so sick of there being a million and one Sarah's out there.. bah. anyway, I think I dread being that close to his family and being in the middle of the bible belt the most... o_O we'll see how it goes, lol

LOL, Mine was also a joke...I know that the motley pattern is, in itself, a paradox.
