Pet art

That rock is really cool, painting on objects like that is a great idea for snakes. I painted my Grey-Banded King Snake and Ball Python on hollowed out eggs, and looped colorful necklace beads and string through the holes to make ornament like crafts out of, you should try that too!

I have another one that's kind of strange that I just did. My alter ego is a Sphinx and the Greek Sphinx was sometimes described to have a snake for a tail. So I put my snake as my character's tail :p Kind of strange, but relevant to the thread!

I love that!. You did a perfect job with the tail/snake. The colors are perfect, and you did a great job of making it easy to recognize as a corn snake without having to go into extreme scale detail. I think the whole image is very cool, and I hope you post more of your art!.

What? No, comment on them! Otherwise I get like 5 comments, and the thread drops off the front page into oblivion.
huh? I'm confused! I thought you meant the comics in the thread itself have a high turnover (meaning if you tried to use the same thread it'd be spaced out by comments between your comics). I didn't want to contribute to that if you disliked it. I'm guessing what you meant were the separte threads that got buried?

hey-its been a while since i have posted...but i thought i'd love to start up with this topic! i more recently started pet portraits (still learning lol) as i usually do people and landscapes..
the first one is based on my cat, 2nd is my betta fish, 3rd is my creamsicle corn when she was under a year, 4th is an unfinished pic of my rootbeer and the last is a rock i painted to honour my rootbeer corn lol
anyways enjoy :)

I love the betta picture! Very detailed. Have you ever thought about sealing that rock and then putting it outside near your door or in a garden or something? I wonder how people would react.
