Photos of Woodstock Shedding

That was great! The little bed is killing me, but the stipper music put me over the edge! Very cool

Yes, this shed was a real treasure for Hazysnake and me to see. I had trouble sleeping that night and kept checking on Woodstock, as I was pretty sure he'd be shedding by morning. About 4:30 AM I caught him pushing and pushing and pushing against the side of his cage to start the process, and then I could see a little spot on his head and I knew it was beginning, so I woke Hazysnake up immediately and had him start taking photos! We really lucked out on which direction Woodstock was facing for some of the photos, and that it was a really smooth shed. It didn't get bunched up like the time we got to see Jo Cool's. (Jo Cool is Woodstock's fiancee.) What amazed me is how fast the shedding was, once it began. It was only about 15 minutes or so.

:roflmao: I agree with Mike. The little bed cracks me up, but the stripper music is too much! Thanks for stylishly presenting what has become a ho-hum event for many keepers. :)

How cute is that? You should turn his viv in to a little house... chairs and tables and a little cupboard for him to hide in, and a radiator for a heat source... :grin01:

I know, I know, I'm getting carried away!
Graet pictures ^^

I think shedding will never be ho-hum to us! We so seldom get to see it. Mostly our snakes seem to know when to keep those private moments private! Someone in our herp club said out of 60-something sheds his snakes have had, he had only ever gotten to see just one.
