pinstripes

Pinstripes, I know they're motleys. Do they just randomly pop up in motley clutches or is there more to it than that? Is it from selective breeding? Do you get more pinstripes from pinstripe x pinstripe breedings? Can you get them from a motley x het motley breeding? Any info appreciated :)

I bred pinstripe x pinstripe this year, and got all pinstripes. Here is a thread showing parents and grandparents. I guess I expected one or two nice pinstripes, three or four broken pinstripes, and lots of motleys. Only six eggs made it to hatching, so this is a relatively small sample size, but I got three perfect pinstripes and three really nice broken pinstripes (which are for sale- I just haven't posted them yet...)

I got an assortment of motleys and pinstripes from pinstripe motley x pinstripe motley breedings the past two seasons. Results are random and not indicative of any type of ratio.

just to make it interesting; I bred these...

Motley X het Motley...and got a bunch of these...
