Placement of water dish?

Snakes are the new sexy
I was reading the instruction manual on Exo Terra's heat mat, and it says not to place the water bowl over the mat (water could overheat). Because I live in cooooold Pennsylvania, I am going to need a mat on each side of the viv (one at 85, the other at 75). So....where would the best place be for the water bowl?

one of your mats won't be on all the time. Your water bowl should be on the cool side of the cage. There's nothing wrong with putting the water bowl on the warm side but it can increase your humidity. In fact in very low humidity areas, a lot of folks actually do that.

That's good to know -- I am literally reading all about humidity right now. You say that both mats won't be on, but in the winter, we keep our house around 68. So, I would need both mats on during cold weather. Would it be alright to keep the water bowl over the 75 mat?
