That's fantastic to hear you're taking him! When I saw his picture I immediately got that urge to take him home. But we've already got two dogs at my house, and sometimes three when my sister's dog stays with us, and the county where I live says two is the 'legal limit'. Blah!
Anyway, I'm glad to hear a happy ending for that little guy!

That limit is the only reason I can think of that I will NEVER live in or near SLC, Utah again. Now that I've experienced life with three or more dogs, I'd rather suffer the cold, rain, and storms for my county's 5 dog limit. Heck, if the government started grouping the boxer breed in BSL, I would move to Canada! ... Okay, I'm distracting myself.
I am SO glad this little sweetie found a home! You rock, Eddie!
here if you live in the CITY you can have 3 total I think.. I wanna say they upped it to 4, But I am not sure. We aren't in the "City" We are part of the county now so no limits woot!
Having seen how long it can take to find a forever home for a dog (we still have one named 'foster' because we never did place him), I'm just thrilled that we were able to find him a place this fast. Right place, right time, right people. Sometimes things just click, and it's great when that happens.
Thanks so much to everyone here. I know I lurk a lot so most of you don't know me, but the people on this forum have consistently shown to be a wonderful community. You folks showed more care and concern for this lovely little dog than the rescue groups did. It really is heartwarming.
Well, Wednesday is the big day! Abby and I are going to make the trip to pick up the little guy. Abby's very excited and my wife and I are too. It will be a nice day trip for us with a sweet ending!
