Hi and welcome to the site, just a few tips...

Spelling, punctuation and grammar are appreciated here and help to get your questions answered quicker. ...as is a 'real topic' in the topic line. The topic itself will make a lot of the members here not bother to even open it...just FYI.

To answer your questions:

1) No

2) No

3) Many do, not all

4) This doesn't make sence. You say you love your new snake and I'm guessing you've had it for 2 days...why do you want to trade it?

5) Can't see a picture.

Good luck,
Adèle

there is a very nice FAQ's section that Joe put together on this forum. In fact, I think it's placed here in this section right now. Check it out and it will answer most of your questions. Also, there is a wonderful search function at the top of this page. Click on it and type in a key word, and it will take you to all threads that have anything to do with what you typed. Third, please type in actual words instead of chat room speak. It drives most of us nuts trying to figure out what the abbreviations mean, and it also makes some people take your questions less seriously when they are written in that fashion. Enjoy your new corn, and then get a ball python later. You'll probably end up with more of each anyway as snakes are as addicting as popcorn!

Also, I would recommend avoiding a Ball Python as a first snake. They can be finicky feeders and are not the best for a newbie.

You don't need a hosting site to post your picture though. You can take it directly from your computer if you want. That's one of the nice things about this site. You just have to make sure that it's less than 150,000 pixels in size.

The majority of individuals do not have photo editing software to do that.

You can resize pictures in Microsoft Paint. You just have to open it and then go under "Image" then "Strech and Skew". You'd want to change the horizontal and vertical strech and reduce that by a percentage to get the right size. Microsoft Picture Manager can also resize but I don't think it's as common as Paint.

My answer to Q4: Don't trade it in for a ball python. Ball pythons can be finicky eaters. Didn't you say you love your cornsnake?

I use neither. I have actual Design software.

What if the individual is on a MAC? ;)

and ball pythons need a larger enclosure, and get much larger and heavier. my friend had a ball python. he kept escaping. he even put bricks on top of the lid and padlocked the lid to the cage. but the python was strong and could bend the edges of the lid to get out. my friend ended up building his python a custom enclosure with a heavy wood lid. i dont think there's a cage on the market that could hold an adult python. everyone i know has custom made cages for their pythons.
my other friend had a ball python, it escaped and ended up being cooked in the oven. her mom didnt realize the snake was in the oven and preheated the oven and well :flames:
corns are great escape artists too...but pythons are bigger and if they get out can cause greater problems around the house...

....Jazz...you know the difference between an occasional oversight and intentional chat-speak...I mean plzzzzz

I own a ball python and a corn snake. I know that pythons need a basking lamp with a red light, and only a red light white ones bother them. They are incredibly cool to watch eat live prey. But after a while you need to feed it dead mice. i got my python last cristmas. they are much harder to handle, and you need to hold it alot or it will get almost immpossible to pick up. You can't hld them for 48 hours after they eat. and they don' t like to come out of there hiding spots when a lot of comotion is going on. Now a corn snake which i've had for like 4 years is simple to handle and needs only a 20 gallon tank for it's entire life. A python is more expensive so is the lamp and undertank heater. . so i'd stick with the corn for a year or 2 and than go for a python, but corn snakes are very easy to care for and great to show your freind sand let them handle safely.
