Do you think it's a forum thing...not snake related? I see way more guys at reptile shows. Just throwing it out there...

I had wondered the same thing. You couldn't get my husband to join a forum. The computer is to look information up, in his eyes.

I actually got my husband into snakes! I begged and Pleded with him to let our son get a snake back in february! Now he has 2 snakes, one corn and one bp. But he doesnt post here, he said he will leave that up to me! I also got him to join ballpythons.net but he just lurks there! So maybe us females are just more into the social part of it!

Maybe I can relate to the lurking. I lurk a lot on forums. I tend to think if I don't have anything new, relevant, or productive to say I keep my mouth shut. Well at least on the internet.

I guess my vote may not have been totally accurate... I may be a girl, but the snake is my son's... Too bad I guess, I'm taking care of it :spinner:

My husband and I both wanted the snake to begin with but the snake stuff is now all mine. I breed them, keep them, feed them, pay for them and buy all items relating to them. My husband has no idea what I own and how many...he just knows there's lots in there.....

I'm working on getting my boyfriend into them. I noticed that with my ex he just wanted to make money off the snakes, mine are definitely my pets and hobby. My current boyfriend isn't into what he calls "the creepy crawlies" he won't even look at a mouse pinky! He does, however, like my new little baby corn snake. Hopefully she'll grow on him and he can get some critters of his own ;D
