Pooped after no food?

Dipper Pines is a snake
So Snipper was shedding so I didn't feed him that week

Came home and he had shed and..pooped?

He pooped before he started shedding from his last mouse and hadn't eaten since.

I was just wondering if this was normal as I have yet to have this happen.
