Found this poor bugger with a busted up wing hopping across the road. You don't see many ravens in our parts.I caught him and we brought him to our SPCA.

I really hope they can fix him!:(

I once found a duck in our yard hobbling around disoriented. Then I saw a bit of blood on its head. We caught it and noticed it must have been hit by a car. skull was cracked and it was bleeding pretty well. We took it in but I can only imagine that they ended up putting it down.

As far as the raven, if the worst of its injuries are a broken wing I'd think the worst they would do is amputate it and a bird rehabilitator could take it in and care for it. I knew a bird rehaber a while back who took in a raven with a broken wing. great bird.

I must thank him for allowing me to capture him. The injury and rain must have tired him out. It didn't take much of a chase to get him, although he did hop like a champ;)

I also thank you for saving him. Not too many ppl would bother and ravens are great birs :) I didnt see any bloody fingers in the pics so he must have been really tired LOL

Well the butchers at the SPCA put him down last night!!They said the wing had a complete fracture...so???I held him and could feel it too, they could have easily amputated that part of the wing and I could have easily taken care of him!!How about getting rid of some of the hundreds of rabbits, maybe feed a few boas, and make room for this beautiful bird!!!I was pissed, but for some reason (probably the shock) I bit my tounge and we left!!:(
