Poor Squirrel

My cat somehow managed to get this squirrel cornered on top of the flower pot in our back garden, he was stuck there for about 10 minutes before I manage to get my cat in. Oh my gosh do they smell so bad, I don't know if thats how they all smell or if he/she was just releasing this smell somehow to deter my cat....but it only worked on me lol :p
The squirrel was making odd barking and squeaking noises, whats even more weird is that from where it was sitting it could have quite easily jumped onto our shed roof, I guess it was just to scared to move.

Heres a few pics of the little guy. The last photo is of him trying to make his escape although he sat there for a few more minutes before I started banging the table, he then jumped half way down my neighbours garden through the air lol.

I think your cat must have scared the s*** out of him!!!!!!!!!! :grin01: I squirrel hunt with my hawk and none of them ever smelled.

I had a Red Tailed hawk, but I released him in June.I'll be getting another the end of this month or early Oct.

I had a grey squirrel turn up in my garden a few weeks ago. A bit weird actually seeing as I live in a town by the beach and there's no woodlands anywhere near me. He was luckier than your squirrel though in that neither of my two cats were around at the time ;)

I've had a lot of pet squirrels and none of them ever smelled!! They do bark, though.
