hey have two siblings from an amel x normal breeding.

My babies are amel and normal but there were also Anery, Ghosts and Snows in the Clutch.

So what possible hets have my babies got?

No need to be sorry. We all had to learn at one point or another. Anyway, yes, if the 66% possible hets prove out, you have a chance at producing Hypos, Anerys, Hypo Amels, Snows, Ghosts & Coral Snows in addition to the expected Normals and Amels.

ok thanks its too soon to try my luck anyway but cant wait to breed them for the very first time.

Think one of my digital thermometer hasnt given up, just checked on the snakes and it says 42!! degrees celsius. this cant be right tho coz the other enclosure states a much lower temp and i even moved the heat mat away from the rub (its not touch the bottom) and the temp wont go down.. so what do i do????? dont wanna slow cook my babies lol

Try swapping the thermometers over and see if the 42 degrees moves to the other rub. If it does, then one of the thermometers is faulty.

What sort do you have and where are you measuring the temp?

Cant mind the make now, to make matters worse my stat was faulty and i had to order on which hasnt arrived yet. so am proper worried about my wee guys. wats the best thing to do until i get my new stat???

What is the room temp? until the stat arrives you can keep them in a warm room.

It is still pretty cold here, especially at night. So don't wanna just turn the heat mat off completely. They are on a steady ish 28 degrees Celsius now. So am hoping this will be fine till the Stat arrives.
