Hi my adult corn almost 5 years old

Last night it has had what could be a regurge but not sure.

It looks just like he has done a poo but I noticed that the clear liquid that has come out with it is slimy ... I have never noticed this before so it could just be poo with sperm or maybe just poo.. It smells like poo.

I only fed him on Sunday so if he would have regerged chances are it would have had more of a mouse in it and all that did come out was white liquid that looks like clotted cheese and a little bit of brown that does look like poo and that is what is normal for him.

I don’t have any pics because it would not be easy to see it because I am only concerned about the slime...

That doesn't really sound like a regurge. The whites are just urates and the brown is just ordinary faeces.

Clear, viscous fluids are quite ordinary. However, if it's really like jelly, and a greenish colour, then that's an indicator of a problem. Only you really know what it looks like, and of course, a picture would be helpful. If you think it looks like this then you should take a sample to your local exotic pets vet for an examination.

Hope that helps

David

the slime is litrally totaly clear ... it probobly is normal but i have never noticed before... only reason i noticed it this time is because it did it over a branch so when i lifted it i noticed it move with the branch.

Its not like jelly or anything it probobly has the same thickness as (sorry for the bad word) snot but clear.

That sounds pretty standard. Just pay close attention to your Corn's activity and how he eats for now. Any signs of weight loss or any strange activity then I'd take him to a vet.

I found a really good hidden regurge last night- must be at least two months old. I had to really pick it apart to find the tail and stuff. It was covered with pepper-sized bugs of some sort. Creepy to think there are those around, just waiting to eat something. It's Maizey's, but she's had three or four weekly meals since then, plus been blue and missed a meal, plus had a refusal before I started hand-feeding her fuzzies, plus had a regurge I found, and then waited ten days- so it's been around since September sometime...

I have seen Addy pee out clear urine- I wouldn't be surprised if what you found was a poo with not much poo and lots of urates and some clear urine.

Eeeewwww, god, that's gross!

My Caramelo, my approx 6 year old corn, had his first regurge with me earlier this week. Right next to the regurge was a bit of poo, so I think that he yakked, then finished his poo from his rat, and then went back into his flower pot to rest. Poor guy. I guess that I tried feeding him too soon -- even though it'd been two weeks. I'd tried him out on a small rat, after he'd been taking 2 weanling rats successfully all year. It was so gross, I discovered the rat which had begun to be digested, while I was eating...I had to do some tough mind-over-matter with that one! The skull was completely visible, with some "meat" still under it, and the neck was beginning to "lose" its fur, but the rest of the rat looked as if normal, just wet. Oh, well...Caramelo gets a nice long rest for the next couple of weeks, and we'll stick to weanlings from now on -- with his next one loaded with NutraBac!
