Post PICS of your SNOW please!

okay, I have two really stupid questions about all the snakes pictured.
1: Do they always have brighter color up towards their heads?
2: They look like they have red eyes. Does that mean they are albino, and therefore can hardly see?

I'm sure those are stupid questions, but I'm still learning. :shrugs:

here's my snow :

1-Yes, they usually have more color toward the head, especialy the yellows. Seems like the ones with the odd pinks and coral colors are more colorful up front, too. :)

2- Yep, all snows are albinos. They are amelanistic, which is why they have pink eyes. They are also anerythristic. (Normal amels have reds/oranges, too.) I wouldn't be surprised if their eyesight is not quite as good as normals, but I don't know to what degree it is affected. They seem quite handy at tracking and striking moving objects, so I think it's something better than "can hardly see" hehe. ;)

Nice Snows! I love the Aztec/Zig Zag ones and the Corals/High Pinks... We used to have a female Striped Snow that was a non eater and eventually didn't make it.. now we picked up another Snow at a show that was labled as a non eater... a risky move, I know.. but most of those eat right away for us... anyway, it looks like Murphy isn't letting me get away with this one so far, but time will tell.. we've only offered him food twice, so, eh... :shrugs: we still have a lot of options to try. :) I'm hoping to pick up a 1.2 of Corals from Don at SMR eventually.. they're definatly on my 'Must Have' list :)

Might as well post this here.

Here is Rosella, my snow het lav. from Serpenco. Snows used to be my least favorite morph, but after getting her they have become one of my favorites. She's a wonderful animal.
