Not everyone here is into ball pythons, and although they are much more mellow than a corn, they are still lovely snakes none the less. Here are some new pictures of my two girls.
Please feel free to post your ball pythons and any advice you have for future handlers.
First up is Paddy the '08
Next is my (newish) rescue, Dorothy. She's been doing wonderful for me and has a great temperament. Her past owners only ever fed her live for 5-years, but I've had no trouble converting her over (BUT I have to be sure the room is quiet, not too bright, and the food is very hot). She's still a bit shy and going in to shed soon (note the pinkish tone), but overall a very good snake.
I'm hoping this thread can help inform some people about Balls. For a relatively common species, a lot of the public doesn't know much about properly caring for them....and they won't get a chance to see their potential.
