Post your boa morphs ;)

Canadian Boa Fanatic.
Hey guys, Just curious to see what everyone is working with, and what you plan to produce in the next 3-5 years!

Currently I'm working with

Kahl Coral Albino
Kahl lipstick sunglow
DH lipstick sunglows
Jaguar Carpet pythons
Sharp albino
Sharp sunglow

and soon to be ghost boa as well as a Motley het albino!

In 3 years, i'll be producing Albino and sunglows of both strains
Kahl Motley albino's! and possibly sunglow motleys :D
Also, DH SHARP snows, and TH kahl moonglows!
as well as the basics, hypo's aneries ect! :D

Let me know when you've got super-motley moonglows. ;)

The only morphs I'm working with are pastels, a salmon, and a sunglow.

Oh, and Dumerils boas. LOL. You didn't specify solely BCI. :grin01:

I won't even go down the super motley road, period..
Super motley's themselves have some wierd skull issues...
And the Super motley albino was just a complete fail.

The gene and morph are simply relatively new in the hobby- meaning that in most cases, people had to breed very close related animals to produce Super motleys, and that mostly ended badly.
Nowdays there are a few breeders who have managed to produce healthy looking super motleys- they will be tested out in a couple of years.

At the beginning, the Sharp Albinos were also considered to be relatively infertile- with out-breeding, you have quite a few of them around and they are as prolific as the Khals.

So... simply give it time.

I personally work with 1.1 HoggXColombian poss super salmons poss het for moonglow, 1.2 HoggXColombian Salmons het Khal, and 1.1 HoggXColombian het khal.

I have a pair of Caulker Cay Boas (may get a few more) I plan on breeding once they are up to size in about 2 more years, and I may get a female BRB for my male. I know they aren't morphs but I love them anyway.

I understand this, But have you seen the super motley albino??? The albino gene just completely reeks havoc on an already geneticly weak snake... your probably right.. give it 5-10 years of out crossing.. but by then, the want for them will be a thing of the past and there will be 100 new morphs. :poke:

Females:
Ghost (Banshee)
Bex (hypo poss het albino)
Sha (hog island)

Hey Ryan! I've got a ghost (poss. super), an albino het anery, and a 'normal'. I'll get some pictures of them up later today. :)

Edit: Wow Jenne, gorgeous ghost!!

LOVE the ghosts....!

up here there nearly non existant.. EVERYONE went the "pretty route" and works with the albinos and sunglows...

you have to struggle to find anerys, ghosts take a LOT of effort, you see the rare snow, and I dont think ive ever seen a moonglow up here.. no one likes them.. its a damn shame!

I love the ghosts and aneries. My main project is for hog islandxcolumbian crosses/morphs. My ghost is actually 25% hog island (her mother was a hypo hog het for anery, her father was a hypo het for albino columbian). She has distinct light and dark phases (you can see them in the pics).

Well, here are pictures of my kids. They are all older pictures, the weather turned really crappy here this afternoon and I wasn't able to get any new ones...

First up, Jordan, 08 Kahl albino het anery, he will be paired with Paige when the time comes.

Next, Paige, 08 ghost (possible/probable super, she looked quite a bit different from most of her littermates, so her breeder believed she was a super, we'll find out eventually I guess...).

And last, Benji, 07 normal BCI, no plans for her right now, she's just my wonderful lap snake. :)
