Post Your Pythons!

Thanks everyone...

I only chose the pics of the animals most people like. I haven't had a chance to take many more new stuff.

Well, I just started fighting a new fight today...
Trying to find CBB 1.1 Black Phase, White Lipped Pythons.. In Canada!
There are two known breeders up here.. and they both work with the gold phase.. still nice snakes.. but not what I want... Maybe ill have to play the Cities waiting game and import from the US.

Here is my normal ball python Akasha, she is the sweetest snake I've ever come in contact with.

you could have them all, but wouldn't that be alot of "HUGE" vivs needed? :p

just so you do know, Red tail boas, need smaller vivs then MOST species of python.. besides royals and a few others :p

This is more what I think of when someone says spotted.

They can gain the rusty reds as they age where most childreni's spots fade as they grow.

I think there are still a lot of people who don't view them as seperate species.

Even JCUniversity in Cairns, Australia still has them on file as the same. It's not like say something is a new morph these are two seperate species all together.

Just think.. Instead of having the largest species of Anteresia you'll have the second smallest python in the world!!! Or maybe you do have a spotted and it just has a slightly diff coloring. Only time will tell. (gorgeous snake either way!)

Carpet Python web image

I found this when cruising the triple w and figured what better place for it that a thread all about python pics.

This is an X-ray of a carpet python who recently ate a possum.

Hehe wanting them and being able to have them are 2 different things. I live in an apartment with not much room so I have to stay with the smaller stuff for now.

That is a really cool x-ray picture!

Kim,
I would assume you would be able to keep either a Savu, Children's or even a spotted python. Since these guys do not get much bigger than a corn.

You could easily keep a adult male IJCP in a 30 gallon tank, 36x12x18.
they stay rather small!

I'm in the market for a female Childrens to hopefully breed fall of 08/spring 09. If that does happen I will be likely selling them for expo prices or better.

hey I have a question about royal pythons... I have two of them (a male and female) and I also have amel corn snake... at what age is a royal python fully grown??
