when i first bought my amel snake everything was normal but now its colors seem to be "dull" if you know what i mean,,and since this is my first "red eyed snake" i was wondering if red eyed snakes' eyes turn to blue before they shed or dont they

dont turn blue when shedding they turn a dull pinky colour,hope this helps.

Yup! Sounds like your amel is getting ready to shed. My amels also look very dull when they're ready to shed.
