Processed Mice Question

I fed Pretzel yesterday, and he successfully ate his thawed mouse.:dunce: . I had a question about the processed sausage mice though. Are they healthier than thawed mice, have a longer storage life and how would I Get a snake interested in something that looks like a sausage  . Is it worth it?

not healthier that i know of, but since they are standardized they will have the same weight and composition as a general rule. if it smells right and is warm i imagine a snake will eat it. i'd suggest sticking with the mice if that's been working for you.

I haven't seen those things in years, wasn't sure they were still being made. I guess they're great for people who either hate to see the mouse or won't put rodent's in their freezer. If memory serves, they were expensive.
