profile picture issues

im trying to change my profile picture because the one i have is old and i want a change, problem is it wont let me upload, saying that the file is too large! ive tried everything i can to try and make it work but its not playing ball! can somebody help me by tellin my how to do it properly, or doing one for me? im trying to use the picture below! many thanks to any help sent :)

Quick question first:
Are you trying to change your Avatar picture (the picture under "Hutchie91" that displays on every post you make), or your Profile picture (the picture you see when you click on your name and go to your profile).

tried to use the url but it said invalid file, saved the pic and TADAAAA it worked! thanks Nanci! :) :spinner:
 
That's what I wanted you to do- just take that image I made for you. I resized it to about the size of the one you were using in pixels, and then made it a smaller file size. Using picresize online.
