Last night was the first night I fed my new corns. I feed them a pinky which they both ate quick and no signs of a regurge. I know they can handle a fuzzy, and im wondering when I should feed them next and if I should move up to fuzzys or give them a pinky next feedng while they adjust to there new inviroment. My albino I got on Sat. and my Sunglow I got on sunday. They seem to be doing good. My singlow which I keep in my room is up and roaming around every night at around 10:00. He is so cute i love to watch him while I fall asleep.

How old are the snakes? Very small snakes can be fed 2-3 times a week, larger snakes (mine is 18") 18-24" once a week, and full grown adults every one to two weeks. The first week I fed mine a baby mouse that was just turning fuzzy. She now eats 2 large fuzzies, and will be moving up in size soon. I've generally been either going up in size, or increasing the amount every week or so. I've had mine for 6 weeks, and she hasn't had a regurge, or refused food yet. I'm sure some of the more experienced herpers out there can add something. I've gotten most of my info from here, or the Cornsnake Manual.

I personally think it is a good idea to offer a slightly smaller 1st meal if the snake is in a new environment.
