questions on buying wholesale corns

I intended to breed a few clutches of corns this year, but circumstances did not allow this to happen. So, I am thinking about buying some corns for resale in order to make back some of this years expenses (I am filing as a business, and I should be showing a profit this year, even a small one.) I know that its late in the year for this, but does anyone have any suggestions on buying corns wholesale? I have checked the classifieds here and elsewhere, and most of the corns being sold as "wholesale" are only about $5-10 less than normal prices (with feeding the little guys, that would not leave much chance for income.) Reselling corns is not something that I want to do on a regular basis, since I will be breeding my own (I now have a seperate snake building, more mouse racks to raise more "food", and more snakes to breed from) but reselling might pull me a little out of the red this year (for the good 'ol IRS)... any thoughts?

I would imagine that it will be quite hard to find wholesale corns this time of year. Most breeders have already sold most of their stock by now and are gearing up for '07. If any hatchlings are left they're probably going to only be one or two here and there. Good luck though.

And those that do have them left have been feeding them all summer and probably don't want to lose all that mouse money. ;)

yeah, I figured as much. I would have liked to buy a large lot from serpenco (if rich even did that this year, I don't recall seeing his 100 lots listed) but I didn't know early enough in the year how my breeding plans would be thwarted by other demands  . Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky and someone will just need to move a bunch of corns fast, otherwise there is always next year.
