Hello, I have a 100g corn snake. I am buying a c serpents 3 tub V-70 rack. Is the corn going to be able to escape?
Thanks for the help in advance.

Any time I buy or make a rack, I will find the low spots (gaps at the top) and put duct tape on the bottom of the tub to shim it. You can get a tight fit this way, and the tape is slick enough that it still slides well.

Starting at about 45 seconds, I explain it in this vid:

That's an interesting way to do it. I don't have a problem with Animal Plastics Economy Plastic racks after the snake is 100 grams. Up till then I've done cardboard shims, covering the entire bottom of the bin.

I have hatching racks from Reptile Basics, the Iris rack. I have also used thin cardboard OR put down rubber shelf liner and secured it in the front and back with aluminum tape.

With hatchlings there cannot be any gap at all or they can get out. Rack manufacturers will _say_ the racks don't allow hatchlings to escape, but this is not true.

As Knox showed in the video, the Sterilite bins that have the handles you remove have that gap on the sides. It is VERY important to eliminate this gap because snakes will try to squeeze through and will die in the process.

I also closed the holes where the latches attached to the tub with hot glue as well. I forgot to show that in the video.
