I had a very bad experience with him. I am looking now to find the post I started about 3-4 months ago. I also brought a normal corn het hypo from Ray and he sent him USPS and he did not tell me that. So basically I paid like 42.00 for a normal corn. It cost him 3.00 to ship the snake! Complete B.S.! I will look for the post now...

Some people here know exactly what I am talking about....I was pretty upset when I got my little guy....

And furthermore, It took 3 days for my snake to get here! No Heat Packs! Just a little 5 week old corn shoved in a little deli cup with no insulation or padding in the box!

:note to self-----CALM DOWN!----

Are you sure it was fed-ex? What was the tracking #? He must be getting a great discount~ costs me $35-40 to ship overnight Fed-ex and I'm getting a 35% discount.

I had him ship it fedex. I told him if it is not shipped fedex it will be a legal isue and possibly a law suit. I just saw that add and for that price I had to get one.

I asked him if that was the snake I would receive and he said no. That is just one of its siblings. I read that message on the boi before.

Do you have any pics of him/her? I am kinda curious to see what he looks like. Did he sex him for you?

I said sex doesn't matter. I POPPED it as a male. I am going to get pics soon. Are you able to watch yours eat or do you have to keep him in a small container for feeding? Did it ever exept live for you? Mine ate after being here for 4 days.

Mine is a male as well. Kathy Love popped him for me at the show in Philadelphia.

I can watch mine eat. He does not mind at all.

I never fed him live...only f/t. It is much easier for me.

It took him almost 10-14 days after I got him to eat....

I will say I have emailed him asking him what his shipping method is and NEVER got a response. This, of course, was after reading howie's earlier post! This should be on the BOI.

It is a federal violation to ship snakes through the USPS. I asked at my local branch. He checked and it's code 526.6, I believe. And mostly just because they can get out! It doesn't pertain to venomous VS non-venomous. It's all snakes. I know my branch would find out if someone was shipping a snake. They are all over it. Obviously, Ray's local USPS isn't as thorough.

Sorry, but I don't have any intention of running a CornSnake BOI here. The BOI on FaunaClassifieds.com will have to suffice for this purpose. I am closing this thread and moving it to the Chit-Chat forum.
